This is an original rare vintage 1986 CAPTAIN AMERICA Marvel Comics promotional poster, showing the empty mask and abandoned costume of the first Avenger. This 1980′s promo poster was sent only to comic shop owners, made in VERY small quantities, and most no doubt have been lost to history by now. The artwork on this Cap poster is likely to be by artist Michael Zeck, because Mike Zeck was doing cover art for the Captain America comic books at that time, such as the cover to issue 332 and 333. This 80′s poster measures about 17 inches by 11 inches, and was designed to promote sales of the “CAPTAIN AMERICA NO MORE” storyline, where the USAgent took the place of Steve Rogers. Get in touch for current availability if you’re interested in this scarce old Capt America comic dealer’s poster! Uploading videos is still sort of new to me, so they’ll look and sound better as I post more of them, and thank you for tuning in! See more info and check this rare vintage comic poster’s current availability at Supervator.com… |

Entry from: Malham, United Kingdom Entry Title: “Pathfinder” Entry: “This was my second visit to the Yorkshire Ramblers’ Hut in Clapham, and I have to say, it is one of the nicer huts. It has plenty of room and is well placed for either the Forest of Bowland or the Yorkshire Dales. This time I took Donny and Mel with me, as their younger sisters were in Canada with Nick. We arrived safely, having had a very nice meal at the Ship Inn in Caton on the way up. I finally got a call from Nick. Apart from trouble with a bunch of drunken Latvians on the plane, Nick had had an amusing time convincing customs in Canada that he was allowed to take his daughters away on his own. They wanted to see a letter of permission from his wife (ie me), which would have been handy to know maybe when we booked the flights. They quizzed him for ages and wanted to know tricky things, like where I was – something Nick had trouble answering. Erm, she’s somewhere in Northern England with lots of outdoory people and probably no mobile signal. Hmm. Saturday was a bit overcast and dull, with a sharp wind. It did stay dry throughout the day, so the walk we took was chilly, but not unpleasant. We followed Jan and Emma to Malham. They had their not-quite-two year old Adam with them, who spent the first part of the walk in the carrier …… |
